Power Take Points Off Lusaka Dynamos Over Ineligible Player

Power Dynamos have been given three points by the Football Association of Zambia ( FAZ) disciplinary committee over the Week 1 match with Lusaka Dynamos.
According to information released on the FAZ Facebook page Power Dynamos Club Vice President Ricky Mapfunda lodged a complaint a day after thier 3-3 draw with Lusaka Dynamos at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
The complaint was based on the use of former Nkana fc striker Tresor Kanyinda by LD who Power said had no International Transfer Clearance Certificate ( ITC) to allow him to play a league match.
In LD’S defence the cub stated that it had a 2017 FAZ registration card for the Congolese striker making him eligible to play.
FAZ’S disciplinary committee led by Joseph Jalasi passed a verdict today and stripped one point from Lusaka Dynamos and handed all 3 points to Power Dynamos with a 2-0 scoreline.
Power Dynamos now gets its second win of the season and move from 10th place to 4th place on 11 points while LD moves down from 6th to 11th place on 8 points.
